October 11, 2026, 10:30am, God’s Revelation of Redemption

Genesis 1-2 describes God creating heaven and earth and everything within it. Everything was harmonious, just as He originally intended. He saw it all and said it was “very good”. Adam and Eve were created and placed together by God in the Garden of Eden. He gave them all they needed and instructions for what was allowable and what was not. Although they had everything they needed, Satan placed the idea of doubt in Eve’s mind. Discontentment sets in. She lingers on God’s prohibition, then proceeds to sin. Adam does the same. All of creation is changed, marred, stained, and Adam and Eve’s relationship with God is also changed in the same way. But God had a plan. A plan of redemption that would restore His relationship with all mankind. Let’s look at the beginning of God’s revelation of redemption.
