Last week, we began our journey through Genesis by affirming that God created everything. Today, we will follow the biblical story from our origins to our ultimate destination. When considering how everything began, two primary explanations are commonly o4ered. The first is the biblical account of creation recorded in Genesis 1. The second is the theory of evolution. Although people may develop theories about where and how life began, only God can reveal what truly happened. Paul connects creation with our destination by using it to illustrate salvation in 2 Corinthians 4:6. Jesus is the incarnate Word of God and the Savior of the world. With that foundation, let us examine the miraculous account of creation and discover how it points from our origin to our destination.
